English Synonyms and Antonyms
apparent
The apparent is that which appears; the word has two contrasted senses, either of that which is manifest, visible, certain, or of that which merely seems to be and may be very different from what is; as, the apparent motion of the sun around the earth. Apparent kindness casts a doubt on the reality of the kindness; apparent neglect implies that more care and pains may have been bestowed than we are aware of. Presumable implies that a thing may be reasonably supposed beforehand without any full knowledge of the facts. Probable implies that we know facts enough to make us moderately confident of it. Seeming expresses great doubt of the reality; seeming innocence comes very near in meaning to probable guilt. Apparent indicates less assurance than probable, and more than seeming. A man's probable intent we believe will prove to be his real intent; his seeming intent we believe to be a sham; his apparent intent may be the true one, tho we have not yet evidence on which to pronounce with certainty or even with confidence. Likely is a word with a wide range of usage, but always implying the belief that the thing is, or will be, true; it is often used with the infinitive, as the other words of this list can not be; as, it is likely to happen. Compare EVIDENT.

How to use apparent in a sentence?
No, obviously not, we have contrasting visions about what America is. And, you know, that's self-apparent. But what I would say is that the majority of Americans believe in that story. And there is power in that story.
The next two weeks are a golden opportunity to make the answer apparent.
It is very apparent from my teams monitoring of online threats that Antifa-type groups intend to engage in violence in the aftermath of the election, especially if Trump wins. Rallies celebrating Trumps victory would be the most obvious target for violent disruption, but the threat comes from multiple angles. There are many extremists who hate Antifa and the left and dont necessarily want to initiate violence but are eager to jump into a fight once it begins.
They have an obligation to share with the American people immediately without delay everything they know about how this individual entered the country whether it through a visa or the visa waiver program, what red flags existed, what criminal record existed, what prior immigration history if any existed…were there any errors, lies or misstatements on the application, what procedure he went through, because if someone with this kind of history can apparently get into the country with that degree of ease, somebody with an apparent history of extremism, and terrorist sympathies, then it indicates that all the guardrails when it comes to vetting are gone.
It sounds to me like the judge is leaning toward the House and favoring a broad claim to investigate and conduct oversight generally and Trump's business dealings specifically, scholars and courts have said Congress has broad oversight authority and Trump's apparent use of his office to profit is a legitimate focus of inquiry.
