So our thinking is that the mead, when you consume the mead, these (antibacterial substances in) lactic acid bacteria in the drink can actually be transferred to your blood and help you when you are infected with dangerous bacteria or promote health, preventing infections.
What we found was that caffeine would have the effect of more sugar, the one that did have caffeine attracted more bees, but in particular the bees who were foraging made more dances, about four times as many dances.
