How to use coincidental in a sentence?
I'm uneasy, hBCUs have a long history of physical threats just because of our existence. I think that the threats aren't individual or coincidental -- that it's a clear attack on Black students who choose to go to Black schools.
If these events occur more frequently in the vaccinated population than the unvaccinated population, then there's reason to think it might be because the vaccine may have caused it. But if the incidents occurred similarly in the vaccinated and the unvaccinated population, then it is overwhelmingly likely they were just coincidental and would have occurred anyways.

It's funny, to me, the way people refer to childbirth as a miraculous event. A miracle is something that defies nature. Only, childbirth has got to be the most natural thing in the world. Top three anyway. But, on the other hand, when you think about it, there's really no other word that fits. Sperm. Egg. A coincidental meshing of genetic information that will grow something that could write an opera or cook up some Napalm. It blows my mind.
If you give a vaccine to a large enough number of people, there are going to be rare adverse events but there are also going to be coincidental events unrelated to the vaccine, if an anti-vaccine group uses a single case, where no link has been proven, to discourage people from vaccination, that's terrible.
