They have on a few occasions given us about a week's notice, including the sinkhole that wrecked the highway, but there is nothing we can do with the information other than to send teams out, fill in each new hole with dirt and fix the damage after it occurs.
If you look back in the last year, there was probably a major sinkhole in every city, at least once a week somewhere in North America or around the world that's on the nightly news, and we're one more.
